Hien Truong, DMD
Dr. Truong grew up in Springfield. He graduated from University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and a minor in Psychology. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. Dr. Truong also served as a teaching assistant in the Department of Comprehensive Care.
Following his graduation, Dr. Truong served in the National Health Service Corp as a dental provider at Caring Health Center. He also volunteered at hospitals, public schools and churches, supporting children and veterans, and giving back to the community he grew up in. Dr. Truong is also an active member of Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS) and American Dental Association (ADA).
Dr. Truong believes a smile is a gift that warms the heart. He is grateful and pleased to be helping others achieve a confident smile back. Dr. Truong strives to incorporate both his academic and aesthetics-oriented background into his dentistry. He continues to study extensively in all aspects of dentistry, as he believes cutting-edge and up-to-date knowledge is his best tool for offering patients optimal care. Dr. Truong regularly attends continuing education courses around the country in order to expand his clinical skills and challenge himself as a dental practitioner.
In his free time, Dr. Truong enjoys playing tennis, chess, snowboarding and spending quality time with his fiancé and his dog, Pepper. Dr. Truong also enjoys community service and focuses his efforts on serving areas with major health disparities.
